Carrot Halwa

2 cups (240 ml each)

Ingredients

• 2 cups grated carrot • 1/2 cup Sweetened condensed milk • 1 tbsp Granulated sugar • 1 tbsp ghee (Clarified butter) • 1 tbsp Chopped nuts • 2 cardamom powdered

Instructions

  1. Press sautee for 10 mins in Normal heat.
  2. Once hot, add 1 tbsp ghee, roast the nuts until golden in colour. Drain from the ghee and set aside.
  3. In the same ghee, add grated carrots and sautee for 5 mins.
  4. Cancel sautee mode and press pressure cook for 5 mins in High pressure.
  5. Once timer is finished, release pressure manually.
  6. Press sautee mode again in high heat for 10 mins.
  7. Add condensed milk and cook until it is absorbed.
  8. In goes sugar. Mix well and add remaining ghee, cardamom.
  9. Stir well and serve it garnished with the roasted nuts.
